When talking about Google AdWords, I am sure that most of you will think about the biggest advertising content network operated by Google and the only thing you can do with it is to spend money and earn traffic. However, have you ever thought that you can make money with Google AdWords?
I am not master of AdWords but I know how to use it and how to maximize my invested money to make it profitable. If I spend $10 for AdWords, I have to think about how that $10 can bring me $50 or even $100. This strategy has long time been applied by big affiliate and internet marketers. Most of them who wrote ebooks for sale on clickbank used Google AdWords as the key tool.
Google AdWords is there for everyone and you do not need to work for it in order to make money. You can use it as a tool for cash generating purpose. Let make it simple that you pay for Google $10 per day and you can possibly make $100 from your $10. That is the simple formula and you need to know.
Everyone has used Google at one time to search for something. They might be looking for a fact or they may be looking for a product or service. When you have done that, you have used a particular word or phrase called a keyword. Those words are the primary feature when you are ready to earn money with AdWords – the keywords that you will be using to create your own Google ad.
Every time that you do a search, there is millions of results that are generated. Each keyword is listed by a number of factors and you can easily learn it like quality score. On every page of these results, there will be several ads that are listed and normally short ads that are meant to catch your eyes and get you to click on that particular link. Those are Google ads, created with Google AdWords and that is how you will be making money.
All you need is to create a free account with Google AdWords and everyone can do it without any risks. You can learn from it or reading tutorials on how it operates to get the right points to convert it into your own money later. The only thing that you need to know is to understand its features and how to make your ads as much visible as possible to your targeted audiences.
Obviously, you won’t make money with AdWords if your ads are being shown to the wrong people, a major problem when using the ad for services that obviously would only be able to be performed in a local area. So, you must remember and keep it in mind as always that you need to get targeted clients for every clicks generated who can make purchase.
I can give you a simple example as below:
You are promoting for couponpress – the most popular tool that can convert your wordpress into coupon sites. You make money by referring your readers to buy it via your affiliate links and earn commission. Several clicks of $1 each can bring you hundreds of USD. But, how to make your ads stand out in Google search results page and get people click and buy it? You need to have a good ad copy as below:
Make money by saving others cash!
Turn your wordpress blog into a cash generator in less than 10 mins
With that small ad copy, I am sure you can drive many people click on it and you will likely make purchase too. You can be charged $1-$5 per click but those clicks can be converted into hundreds of USD.
Remember that, you should pay close attention to your campaigns and well prepared for all ad copy. Keep your daily budget as much low as you can afford to be safe and changed campaign every two weeks if one can not convert well.
What do you think about this?

If you want to use Adwords, I suggest you to use landing page. Because this traffic method is not free. So you can capture the leads for your own list.
You are right again @Iman. Landing page is always used by any internet marketers who sell ebooks or digital products but we should use the most profitable sale letter/page too
Clear enough for me but i have a question. How can we choose the right keyword for AdWords?
You can use Google AdWords External Tools and Google trend to get the best keywords, however, QC indicator in AdWords does not means that way and you need to run your campaign to increase its QC and reduce bidding price
@dana : you can use adword keywool tool to find list of keyword people search .
Sort them and target the user depending on your budget . It is not that you should bid on high CPC keyword .
Thanks @Siva, that is a great and free tool
To choose the right keyword, researching the keyword of “the competition website” is a good way!
It is not always to do that way but it is popular way
What do you think about traffic ? It isn’t money ?
If your traffic is from autosurf or bounce rate, it means nothing to affiliate marketing. We are talking about targeted and Google is the best tool to bring our prospects
You know it’s not my mean ! As you say above:
” When talking about Google AdWords, I am sure that most of you will think about the biggest advertising content network operated by Google and the only thing you can do with it is to spend money and earn traffic. However, have you ever thought that you can make money with Google AdWords ?”
That’s what I complaint ! ” spend money and earn traffic ” and ” However, have you ever thought that you can make money with Google AdWords “.
You don’t ever think that from those traffic , it can bring money ?
Traffic means many things buddy. Many bloggers use Adwords just to build up brand by driving more traffic, however, affiliate marketing does not need much traffic that can not turn into sales, you can drive 100 rather than 1000 but that 100 can be 50/50 sales while 1000 convert just 5-10. What will you choose?
Each person uses Adwords for different purpose as I said
If you mean traffic from adwords can bring money for adsense ads, it is violating Google adsense policies LOL
I think you are wrong, by using Google Adwords to promote for your Google Adsense website, it isn’t against Google Adsense TOS.
And as I said above, it’s not mean exactly you think. Yes, you are using Google Adwords to make money. But first, you are setting up project, setting money per keyword, per click. And what did you get ? It’s traffic. From that traffic, it’s turned you to the money.
Then ?
Hi @Tran: Let me clarify this in order to avoid confusion here
Yes, when you set up adwords campaigns, the first thing you will see is traffic but I think the end purpose and what most of internet marketers would like to see is sales/leads (ROI). Again, if you get 1k traffic without sales, will you use Adwords anymore? No, if you receive just 10 clicks but half of them converted into sales, will you invest more? Yes! I am talking here is the end purpose that all internet marketers must oversee to avoid bankruptcy for every adwords campaigns!
Regarding the adsense TOS, maybe Google not saying directly that you are not allowed to put adsense on sites with Adwords campaigns but if you follow Adsense Forums (formerly adsense groups), there have been a lot of publishers and adwords users who got banned by using that way. You can search around in webmaster world or DP to get the right answers on this. I just want to warn those who have never experienced this to be on safe side
That’s bad. Thanks for notifying
thanks for the information i will go and take a look for it.
You are always welcome friend
hi tinh, i always thought that google adwords charge money for publishing ad and it’s used to bag traffic. so, i was limited to that thoughts. after reading your article one thing is clear that it can bring money also. thanks for sharing, bro.
It’s a new perspective on AdWords. But after reading all the discussion here in comment section am a bit confused about Google AdSense TOS…
Yes, it is always confused and Google is never clear on what it mentions and keeps changing all the time
This thing sounds new to me. Actually I do payperclick a lot in the old days in doing affiliate marketing. I mostly promote CPA offers and make good money with it.
I haven’t dived that much with promoting products with coupon codes though.
Tanks you, I will go and take a look for it.
I’m a student. What a nice article. How long does this job take per day? Does it fit me?
You are a student and I am sure you have more than I do. My answer is “why not”?
Google Adword is very expensive. Some of blogger use other method traffic such as: buy backlink, tool seo to improve your site. I do not use Adword .
Is it better to direct your adsense clicks to a landing page, or a web site?
