I have been a fan of blogger.com for quite a long time before switching to WordPress for some personal and commercial purposes. However, I have to admit that blogger.com service has its own advantages that other blogging platforms even WordPress can not offer and of course, it has its own disadvantages too.
If you would like to launch a special magazine site with complicated features and component with blogspot platform, it will take a lot of time or even impossible. However, it is much easier with WordPress. But, the gap seems now closer when there are a lot of blogger templates which can handle these issues.
Among many other blogger templates I have searched on the internet for this article, I find Simplex Design the best one that you should give it a try. All templates are premium and FREE of charge with great support from designer Mr. Huy – another Vietnamese blogger and also a fan of blogger.com.

What do you think about these premium templates? Am I wrong when I call them the best premium blogger templates for 2010? I am sure that you will never find any premium blogger templates for FREE like these. Many designers will charge you hundreds of dollars for each of these.

My favourite out of the five is the Simplex Theme. Reminds me a little of the Revolution/StudioPress themes.

The templates are nice, almost comparable to wordPress themes. Simplex Enews is my favorite there. Great job there from Mr Huy.
I love Vcard the most and I did not think this site can be implemented on blogspot platform

Yes, that right. I always liked the style magazine, it made me feel my website is very professional although this style requires a website to have a massive amount of posts.

Each blogger has his/her own preference, however, I do agree with you that magazine need a huge bunch of articles published on daily basis to keep it alive and a single blogger can not handle a big magazine unless s/he uses autoblogging tool or aggregator to do so.

Nice templates but all of them were converted from wordpress themes. Mr.Huy can be a pro blogger coder but I do not think that he is a designer.
He does not seems a designer as his background is financing and banking I guess. Anyway, his coded templates are awesome right?

BTW Your blog has some issues opening with IE8. Pls check.
Could you tell me what exactly the issue is? I have tried with IE8 and found no critical issues at all. Just the CSS3 does not show up properly
