Today is the last day of August, the first month after AZBlogTips’ launch. This month marks 2 months old (actually 40 days) for this new blog with a lot of challenges in terms of traffic, ranking and revenue too.
As mentioned in my previous article when AZBlogTips passed its first 30 days, the traffic has climbed up a bit faster than my old blog and it remained stable until the end of August. It is indeed a great news to me as the blog owner and it also encouraged me to work harder and harder in the furure.
The most important thing is that AZBlogTips has nearly reached 200 UV per day and it also passed 5,000 visits in August and 13,000+ raw visits according to HostGator report in Cpanel. This statistics is quite modest compared to other blogs’ data but it is a great achievement for me as it was just born for more than a month now.
In addition, AZBlogTips has just joined 100k Alexa club and my blog is eligible to show 7 days statistics on Alexa rather than 1 month and 3 months recording as usual.

That is my monthly statistics and here is real earning for AZBlogTips. The last month revenue is not only for this blog but mostly from my old blog. Now, you can know how much this blog has generated for August:

- HostGator: $700 (7 sales from HostGator affiliate program and 1 sale from CJ)

- Popup Domination: $0.00
- Thesis Theme: $0.00

- Chitika: $2.92 (Not showing ads on this blog, that is recurring commission only)
Total: $1,324.2665
It is not too bad for a new blog like AZBlogTips and of course some commissions are recurring ones like Bidvertiser, AdBrite, Chitika. However, it will be calculated for this new blog too.

I just don’t understand why your alexa rank is so high with those numbers of visits and pageviews. I get 1k visits each day but my rank is below 160k.
Are you using Google Analytics to track this 1k/day? How about bounce rate and traffic source? Traffic source is not equal with Alexa

I read that article but I could not agree with you totally as Alexa has been changed and you should also read its blog to see what has been integrated in the new version and why advertisers and bloggers still trusted Alexa as one of two factors to measure website together with PR. Yes, HostGator revenue is great to me and many other bloggers. It is easy to promote them as it is great and high quality hosting service that we can stay for long
I may consider adding their banner at the top of my site for a while. I guess people looking for wordpress themes may also be looking for a hosting service. It could potentially make my profits sky-rocket with such awesome payouts. I am glad I cam across this blog post

Did you noticed that CJ commissions are getting locked less than DIrect hostgator affiliate links?
No, it takes longer than HostGator affiliate programs, that means 60 days while HostGator takes only 30-45 days but the pay rate is 2 times different
Nope not that ways… But I’m seeing more clicks on my CJ links in compare to hostgator but with Hostgator links no of sales is almost 3X…
I’m kind of doubtful about Cookie clocking by other Cj Affiliates and that’s why it doesn’t convert into sales.. What;s your thought?
I have been in your situation when I see a lot of clicks in CJ for HostGator but conversion is too small compared to HostGator tracking tool itself but I could not find the answer!

No, most of credit is for this blog, just Chitika, AdBrite is recurring commission

The stats speak for your hard work. Kudos! to you for bringing up azblogtips to such a height. I’m having similar stats in terms of traffic, but the earnings are not too good. Any special tips from your side ? Also, I had tried out CJ a month back wherein my blog was almost a new one, but did’nt get any commissions out of it. Would you recommend adding it again ?

That is quite sensitive but I will try some ways to share this. Many of my friends advised me not sharing very detailed to avoid termination from CJ. I will try and read CJ TOS again to see how I can do it. You can see details there in my report, just shareasale and CJ. Thanks

HostGator plays an important part in my affiliate marketing income so far but I am trying to balance other sources to secure my affiliate commission. I am sure you can make more and up up up

I want to ask, why hostgator commission payment is always delayed because I have not received payment for September (I made two sales on 2010-06-26 and 2010-06-14).

You should contact them directly as I have received my commission on time. Maybe, your referred clients just enjoyed one month free hosting and quit, it means you will not eligible to get commission when HostGator applies 45 days tracking. You can track your commisions on account panel and see whether they are all active or invalid
