5 Brainstorm Killer Ideas for Your Blog Content!

content is king

Everyone, especially when they try to make money blogging, gets to a point where they just don’t know what to write about anymore. If you want to make money as a blogger, the one thing you have to have is a constant flow of ideas that will keep you going even if you have been writing for years…

…and years.

How to get more ideas to write about than you can possibly handle!

So, how do you know what to write about? It’s easier than you think, actually. Below are 5  brainstorm killer ideals to help you get more content for your blog.

1. Enjoying And Having Fun.

The first thing you have to do is start with the basics and really take a look at your blog. Is this something you’re actually having fun doing? Do you enjoy making the content for your site?

Of course, if you’re writing for money, having fun might not be your top priority, but it’s much easier to write about something you actually like.

I mean, think about this for a sec:

Did you notice how excited you get if you talk to someone about something you love? It seems you can just talk about that for ages. It seems there’s never enough time to cover everything, right?

That’s because you’re talking about something you really enjoy, and since blogging is just like talking to your readers, it’s the exact same with your site.

2. Take different angles.

This is another great thing to do when you run out of ideas for things to write about.

What you got to do, no matter if you’re writing to make money blogging or for any other reason is make sure that you look around as you go through each day, notice the stuff that might be interesting to your audience and write about it from your own perspective, keeping in mind that it is fun and entertaining.

3. Know your readers.

Yet another thing to keep in mind.

If you really understand where your readers are coming from, if you really know what they need, it’s going to be hard for you not to know what to talk to them about. I mean, if you’re stuck for ideas you can always just talk about…

…them.

And an awesome thing about talking to someone about their situation, their life and their circumstances is that they’ll never get bored… ever!

4. Feeling it.

Now, this is the absolute killer if you really want to make it happen. When you understand your readers and know what they need just like we talked about, the very best thing you can do before you write anything for them is get in their shoes emotionally.

I mean, just imagine for a moment that you are your readers and that you live their life. How do you feel? What troubles do you go through? What problems do you face?

Knowing that will make it very easy for you to identify with your audience and write for them for years.

5. Hire a writer.

Now, this has nothing to do with you, obviously, but if you really don’t have anything to write about and are just feeling completely burnt out, the one thing you can always do is find someone to make your content for you.

It’ll cost you some money, but it’ll give you a nice break, and you’ll have someone with a fresh, new perspective writing for your blog.

Now…

I’ve shared some great tips with you about how to write for your audience, and they’ll really help you if you apply them. Anyway, thanks for reading my guest post and commenting I appreciate it.

  • Great killer ideas… I mainly focus on points # 2 & 3

  • Know your readers seems very important as you know what they need to provide the right food :-)

    • Yes, knowing readers is a great way to provide value and the best way I know is actually using survey while at the same time use bride by giving them something free after they had done the survey.

  • “Enjoying and having fun”
    - This can be difficult to bloggers especially if they are blogging about a topic which they don’t really like to discuss. How come that there are bloggers who this? Because they are thinking that blogging something hot like “How to make money online” can give them the financial freedom they want.

    • Yes, you are absolutely right, I had this mindset when I’m just starting out, but sometime it just can’t help, we human had ego and desire about something, and believe it or not money can be exchange for life and death… the only way we can do is provide the right content we believe is right…

      • Yeah, I do understand. Oh well, sometimes money can control anybody so wrong content can still be a right content when you get benefit from it.

    • To some extents you are right @Samatha. Many bloggers are now stick with hot topics that they think they can easily benefit from it rather than other topics but if you love something, you should go for it to build up targeted audiences and you will surely get some products to promote with high conversion.

I admit that when bloggers get some money from something, they will easily stay with it and easily forget what they committed but everything will be changed, if they have created impact, money will come sooner or later rather than traffic only :-)

  • Knowing the readers’ pulse is important to produce useful content. Hiring writers works great. But some writers find it very hard to write blogging related topics.

    • Well, here’s a tip for you if you want to hire a good blog writer, always ask for samples in your niche, if he or she doesn’t have a written sample of the niche you wanted him or her to write, do not hire…
And if he or she does have a few sample, you will eventually know whether or not his good in writing a blog content in your niche…

  • I think skill writing so important

    • Yes, if a person had skill in writing, he can literally live a internet live like nobody, I mean he can either become a high price freelancer or a advertiser…

  • Hire employee to writing is still good.

  • I really like point #1, if you doesn’t enjoy what you blog then your post won’t have neither quality or quantity. As a new blogger I am still focusing on point #1, Thanks for sharing it.

Also check out forums and see what people are talking about. Perhaps you can write a blog post about it.

  • Knowing your readers mind is very important as you are writing for the readers only… if hey don’t like your posts they will stop visiting your blog…

    • Ya, knowing what your readers mind is very important but most of the time is hard to really know, so best suggestion is to communicate with them through writing blog post or social network.

  • Knowing readers is important but at the same time it is difficult to provide content that satisfy both search engine visitors and regular readers. Hired writers are finding it difficult to write blogging related articles unless they have prev experience.

    • Well… actually it is not hard to find good blog writers, my suggestion is to go to warrior forum and search for one, I’m sure you will find one that suits your style.

  • Hiring writers is a point I haven’t seen anywhere else for this topic. But I too agree with it. It was a nice one. I’ve tried it and I am happy with it.
    Good post friend.

  • One good way of generating ideas is simply to do a comparison between two different things. You cite various pros and cons for each and then finish with your verdict.

The classic blogging one is Blogger versus Wordpress. But you can do it for just about anything, really. Once you’ve got the two things to compare, the article pretty much writes itself.

    • That’s a nice idea really, never thought of it, well I will try it out and see if I can write a “pros and cons” of certain topic… thanks for this great idea…

  • As you said, it’s very essential to enjoy what you are doing. Else, it’s very difficult to continue Blogging for a longer period.

  • Love your thoughts on LOVING IT! When you love the topic the content will last and last and last. You won’t have to worry about creating the content; because it will just flow.

  • “Feeling it!”. Funny but very important at the same time. Thinking in the shoes of your reader will help you figure of what you want for your next blog post.

    • Yes, think in the shoes of your reader usually can help to write something that your reading really want to read as in solving their solution to their problem, thanks for coming by reading my guest post, talk soon…

  • well i m also writer and i agree with you… you r bang on target with all of your points

  • These five are really amazingly unique. It drives me to follow such steps. Ideas where you can take advantage on. Heeding to such suggestion is the best compliment I can give to the blog owner who shared this unto us people who are also trying to find ways to come up with a decent approach on the details this article has.
