Hey Divya thanks for sharing this tips with us.
Yes #4, #9, #10 always matters for writing product descriptions.
BTW Thanks.
What about adding comparison table too..! Comparison table plays a great role in showing the real benefits (as you mentioned in #5). So for me, Marketers should keep this in mind while writing on any product.
I’m interested in writing and would like to have a job in writing product descriptions in the future. What is this job called? how much do you get paid for doing this job? thanks.
I think these all tips are important, I do follow these tips while creating a micro niche sites, it generates sales from time to time. As long as the description of the product is clear and easy to understand, people would be happy to read them. Agree with your last point, convince but don’t sell. We must try not to hard sell a product, we just sharing our experience using it and share the pros and cons about the product, there’s no one product is perfect, so don’t keep focusing on the pros but avoid the cons.
Thanks for the tips Divya!
There is no doubt that if the description of the product is not mentioned clearly then consumer will be in a confused mind whether to use the product or not. And as said above comparison table will help the consumer to distinguish between the product and choose the right one.
Comparison between 2-3 products/tools of same kind will give a great overview of pros and cons for your clients and it can boost sales then
